RUBIK III 1 Seat Armchair

We have been very impressed with the couch. It's easy to put together and its modular nature gives us a ton of flexibility in terms of how we want to rearrange it. It's also very comfortable. We actually liked it so much that we went back and bought additional pieces.

Ok, lets get straight to it. If you don't have a modular couch and on the fence do it! Covers are washable and replaceable, literally any part that you might destroy can be ordered and replaced new. If you need to add more seats you don't have to buy a new couch just slot them in! Then configuration.... let your mind go wild you can configure it however you want to even making multiple couches from the same base set.
I purchased a Rubix III 3 seat+3ottoman in dark grey. Unsure if i like the poly fabric but there are other options i should have looked at closer i needed a couch quick and less expensive that could be delivered to 3rd floor unit.
I went to multiple furniture stores, an expensive/popular modular couch company in the mall and even a popular wholesale store to check out couches..... after all that i ordered this couch sight unseen and took the chance.
While i may have knocked the fabric above i have fallen asleep on this couch many times in the 3 weeks of ownership and rarely did that on my old couch.
Firmness.... i researched couches for a couple weeks and that is what most people are concerned about. I personally do not like falling into a couch you cannot get out of. This couch is firm and hopefully softens up a little over time but with the ottoman layouts you can lounge it out or sit up straight to attend teams meetings or focus on a game.
With any couch you need pillows, buy some good ones, push all the ottomans in to make a large sleeper and you can have a super comfy movie night with others.

My 5 star review is taking into account the price, modern look, storage, long term ownership having washable/replaceable parts, quick shipping and ability to add more sections/console later if needed.

Overall we’re pleased with the Rubik III. We wanted a sectional type couch for the basement and knew we’d struggle to get a traditional style couch down there. The modular style was perfect for our use case. It was incredibly easy to set up and all 8 pieces took less than 30 minutes to assemble and arrange. Quality is decent, it isn’t a top of the line couch but that’s not what we were expecting. Cushions are certainly on the firmer side but still comfy. As other reviews mentioned the base cushions do tend to slide off especially on the ottoman, so we’ll likely spend a couple dollars on some Velcro to hold them in place.

TLDR : a comfy firm couch that is convenient and functional with a quality that matches the price point.

I love this set. I will eventually be adding more sections.
